LoDo Cares hosts monthly "First Friday" monthly clean-ups of Cherry Creek (in collaberation with the City of Denver Parks department) primarily between Larimer and the confluence of the Platte and Cherry Creek in lower Downtown Denver from 9 to 10 a.m. LoDo Cares provides trash bags and trash pickers. If you'd like to go in the creek to retrieve the multitude of trash that collects, consider bringing high top rubber boots or waders. We meet at the Rothman Children's Playground which is bordered by Cherry Creek, Wynkoop and Speer where supplies are distributed. These will continue every first Friday through November. Questions contact Kathy Gentry at kathy@gentryassociates.net or 404.876.4480.
Note that the address is across the bridge from the Children's Playground where we meet...there is no address for the Playground.
