First Call Hospice provides Hospice home care services, as well as inpatient services at contracted facilities. First Call Hospice is Medicare/Medical certified and is licensed by the state of California as a Hospice which contracts with other health care facilities and agencies for inpatient type services.

First Call is looking for a volunteer or two who would like to volunteer in an office setting doing clerical tasks such as creating binders, organizing supplies, answering phones etc. We would love to have someone 3-6 hours weekly.


Training is provided.
Background check, TB test, and drug screen required.

First Call Hospice offers support and comfort to people who are living with a terminal illness. Hospice care is a coordinated effort provided to the patient and the family by a professioanl team of doctors, nurses, social workers, clergy and volunteers.

Description

First Call Hospice volunteers are trained to provide companionship to patients and respite to families. Training is provided at no charge to the prospective volunteer.
