Coastal Hospice is in need of volunteers to serve patients in Glynn, Wayne, Camden, Brantley, Long, Charlton, McIntosh Counties. Are you a compassionate and caring person who wants to brighten the lives of others? Our volunteers work with patients that have terminal illness by providing companionship, running errands and respite for their caregivers. We are looking for volunteers with special talents such as music, art, photography, hairdressing, or cooking.
Are you excited about honoring or helping veterans in our community? Get involved with our We Honor Veterans program. We are also looking for administrative assistance or help with bereavement or spiritual care. Most of all, we are searching for volunteers with a BIG HEART!!

Coastal Hospice of Georgia is located on Saint Simons Island in Georgia. We serve the Glynn county area as well as surrounding counties (Camden, Brantley, Wayne, and McIntosh). Coastal Hospice provides expert and compassionate medical and supportive care for people and their families facing a terminal illness. Our hospice team will work with your physician and primary caregivers to provide you and your loved one with the support needed to spend time maximizing quality time, in your own familiar surroundings, and in the company of family and friends.
Description
Here at Coastal Hospice, we have end-of-life care expertise that only decades of experience can teach. We provide care to any person who needs us, regardless of age, diagnosis, or ability to pay. All our resources are dedicated to services that benefit each patient and family. Access to a hospice nurse twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week. Collaboration and care planning with your current medical providers and facility staff when the patient resides in an assisted living community or skilled nursing facility.
