Central Jersey Animal Rescue is seeking an enthusiastic, detail-oriented person with grant writing experience to join our team to help us research and apply for grants to fund our live-saving programs.

Is this position for you? Do you:

• Have strong writing and grammar skills. The ideal candidate will be able to use compelling language which will make our rescue stand out.
• Able to research potential grant opportunities for us.
• Experience with the grant writing process is helpful
• Able working on your own, detail-oriented, self-motivated and responsible
• Care about animals and interested in humane solutions

Responsibilities

• Performs relevant research to identify potential grant opportunities.
• Play an active role in proposal writing and grant application process.
• Assist with follow-up’s as needed to ensure grant requirements are being met.
• Provide status to the Grant Writing Lead and the Board team.
