The Director, Event Planning and Experience (EPE) is a newly created position,we’re seeking a veteran event planner and operator to lead the team in setting and evolving event planning, event execution and event participant experience standards. The Director will determine the most efficient and effective ways to accomplish our event planning and experience goals and will generate and ensure success across the organization.

• The Director will be a member of the Experiential Fundraising leadership team and will work in tandem with the Directors of each fundraising program. They will also work very closely with our internal partners on the local Community Development teams, the Marketing team, the Finance team and the Legal team.
• Work closely with each Program Director and Regional Vice Presidents to fully understand other program expenses and the revenue model and levers. Make recommendations on the volunteer needs and volunteer infrastructure necessary for each type of event. Advise on job descriptions, job aids, trainings and other tools in order to ensure a best-in-class volunteer engagement experience and high quality event execution.
