ORGANIZATION: Idealist.org

Recruiting Organization: ArtWorks NYC

Join our spirited team of volunteers starting this fall 2022! Help elementary school children develop critical thinking skills by looking and discussing diverse forms of visual art in both the classroom and museum. An art background is not required. Training is provided.

Volunteers are needed to conduct our short programs in schools and/or give tours to class groups at The Met and Brooklyn Museums. We serve schools in all 5 boroughs. Our programs take place Monday-Friday mornings during the school calendar year.

All volunteers must be 21 years and up. We ask volunteers to stay in the program for at least one year.
