We are looking for an experienced volunteer to help us with our Public relations strategy. We aim to share our story, network, raise funds and meet like minded brands. This could be through articles in blogs, magazines, influencers, video etc.

SAWA SAWA is black woman founded social enterprise in Austin, Texas. We are a sustainable, fair, earth conscious, nonprofit fashion brand handmade by artisans in Kenya. Our bags are intricately handwoven using locally sourced, organic, natural, biodegradable sisal fiber harvested from agave.

Our ideal customer is a world changer that shops high quality bags. She cares about the materials that go into the fashion products, the makers, process and effect on the planet. She wears her values and lives a sustainable lifestyle. Impact and empowering women is of great importance to her. She loves a good story and a fashion items that tells it.

We have been featured in several media channels, blogs, magazines, awards etc. We have seen significant growth in every feature. We hope to create a strategy that helps us elevate the brand, empower more women and grow sustainably.

An ideal volunteer would have experience in public relations, marketing, story telling and more.
