During the month of July, NSI Food Pantry is looking for customer service minded and data entry volunteers to help us update demographic information on our neighbors who visit the pantry. Current and accurate demographic information helps NSI with grant writing and fundraising needs. Gathering this information takes some extra time so we are looking for one extra volunteer each day in the month of July to help us update this information.

The volunteer will speak with each family who visits the pantry that day and ask questions to verify the demographics of the family such as, race, military status, age, etc. Information will be recorded on an iPad using PantryTrak, an easy-to-use, web-based program. Training will be provided. The volunteer must be available each week in July on the day of their choosing (Monday-Friday). This opportunity will take place outdoors.

If you are interested, please contact Marcia Winkfield at mwinkfield@neighborhoodservicesinc.org for more details.
