Be trained by to be a volunteer mediator! Community Mediation Upper Shore works to resolve conflict and build peace in our families and community. We strive to ensure that everyone has access to the strategies, skills, and support needed to resolve conflict. CMUS can offer free training to anyone who is willing to volunteer in Kent or Queen Anne's counties. Our next training will be in August/September 2022. We offer 2 trainings per year.

Mission Statement
Community Mediation Upper Shore's mission is to build and provide community-based conflict resolution and peacebuilding services at no cost. CMUS is committed to working together for sustainable peace and resilience in our community, where all will have the strategies, skills, and support to resolve conflict.
Description
Mediation with CMUS is free of charge. We work with community organizations, schools, neighborhoods, individuals, courts, and others to make sure mediation is available for everyone at all stages.
Students use mediation. Families use mediation. Businesses use mediation. Neighbors use mediation. Mediation is for everyone, anytime there is a plan to be made. Mediation is a collaborative decision-making process and an inclusive communication process. We will train community members to be mediators if they'll volunteer with us to keep the service free of charge for the community.
