Hospice volunteers come from a variety
of backgrounds but share a common
interest - making a difference in another’s life. Some volunteers have personally
experienced hospice through the care of
a family member or friend and choose to
give back to others. Volunteers select the
type of work that best suits them -
directly with patients and families or
indirectly through office assistance.
Whether it’s providing companionship
or just a quiet presence, volunteers support patients and their families. Hospice
volunteers feel appreciated and develop a deep appreciation for life. It is gratifying to know your time has deeply impacted a family and is a great service to your community.
