This event is mainly for children (18 months to 6 years) who are enrolled in our program. All the children have behavioral challenges, although most are too young to be diagnosed. Those that are diagnosed have various levels of autism, ADHD, Oppositional Defiant Disorder to name a few.
This event is on Saturday July 30th from 10:30 am to noon at 3633 North California Avenue (in the old DePaul College Prep building) in the gymnasium. This is a time for our children to practice being in a community event while maintaining appropriate behaviors. Volunteers will either man the carnival games, bounce houses, popcorn or activity stations (arts and crafts).
