Trailhead host have extensive contact with forest visitors, educating them on the geography of the area as well as rules and regulations, including requirement for a permit to visit Cedar Creek Falls. Trailhead host also assist in verifying that the forest visitors going to Cedar Creek Falls have a permit for their visit. Volunteer trailhead host must also have the ability to hike 2-3 miles on a moderate trail 1-2 days a week.
Volunteer Trailhead Host must work well with people, be personable, neat in appearance, and behave in a manner appropriate to the workplace. they will be required to be on site a minimum of 32 hours per-week Thursday through Monday including holidays, Volunteer Trailhead Host position involves working outside in a variety of weather condition, this may include standing, walking, bending, twisting, carrying, and lifting.
