- This is an unpaid volunteer opportunity and as an Associate, you are required to contribute a minimum of 5 hours per week.
- Project leaders must be willing to attend meetings in EST Timezone and be responsive to emails within 36 hours.
- STW (tm) will provide a "letter of recommendation" to interns, students & professionals who are able to showcase outstanding performance for school/university credit and for professional references.

Save the Water(tm) is a U.S.-based nonprofit organization whose mission is to conduct water research to identify and remove harmful contaminants in water; and to raise public awareness about water contamination and its health impacts. STW (tm) also offers educational programs to excite young minds about water science.
Our volunteers are diverse professionals from all over the world bringing their knowledge and experience to STW (tm) because we care deeply about our communities and water resources. The Role:This role is required to work with leadership to conduct data analysis related to toxic chemicals and research about contaminants of emerging concern to create an internal database.
What you will be responsible for.....- Research about contaminants of emerging concern
- Expand an internal database with toxic chemicals
- using their knowledge of data processing software and business development strategies to provide sound business decisions to company Executives.
- Research large data sets to find usable information.
- Create reports for internal teams and/or external clients.
- Create presentations and reports based on recommendations and findings.
- Attend weekly/monthly meetings as per schedule.

- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects and details simultaneously.
- Bachelor’s degree completed or equivalent work experience (at least 3 years or more full time paid corporate/non - profit work experience)
- Bachelor in Chemical Engineering, or related sciences.
- Experience in research.
- Good analytical skills and willingness to learn.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Focused attention to detail and critical thinking.
