Mentors are positive role models who provide support, guidance and encouragement to children. The Youth Mentoring Program at the Children’s Healing Institute in West Palm Beach is in need of volunteers over the age of 25 to become a "big pal" and make a huge difference to a child.
All it takes is a few hours at least twice a month building a special friendship with a child, to help make the difficult times of growing up a little easier. The rewards are endless!
The program fully screens, trains and supervises all volunteers.
We have children right now who are waiting to be matched with their new big pals! Male and female volunteers needed.
