This could be a wonderful experience for Nutrition/Dietetic students. You would be answering phones for food requests form the patient care departments, assemble trays and assist with the tray line, assist with projects as requested by the Patient Services Manager or Director. Our Low Vision department is looking for Vision Screeners to join in providing vision screening to students in Long Beach and the surrounding cities. Training is provided for equipment set up and use. This is a weekly commitment of about 4 hours.
At St. Mary Medical Center, the Low Vision Center School Vision Screening Program has been in existence for over 20 years. As a volunteer for this position, you will be instrumental in helping to provide accurate vision evaluations to the children of the greater Long Beach area schools thereby creating a healthier community.
