The Volunteer Teacher plays an important role in the Take My Hand Summer Day Camp. The counselor may be called upon to work with any class level throughout the program (k-1st, 2-3rd, 4-5th, 6-7th). providing continuity for the class throughout the day. Volunteers will receive packets with the curricula for each day and submit a weekly report expressing any concerns about a student.

Must be good with children, high school graduate, ability to work together and as part of a team. Experience working with children in the context of a classroom is highly desirable. Must be highly organized, dependable, responsive, and enjoy a collaborative work style.

    Shifts are flexible but must commit to two hours per day, 3 times per week M-F.
