ORGANIZATION: Lutheran Life Villages

The need for volunteers has never been greater, now that COVID restrictions have been lifted, we have opened our doors to volunteers. If you have an hour or two, a day, week, or month, our residents need the gift of your time. They have been isolated for almost two years. The dedicated staff here at LLV has done an amazing job of taking care of our residents, the need for volunteers to spend one on one time, assist with arts and crafts, bingo calling, assisting with taking our residents to outing, walks, weekly religious services, and to listen to their history, is in need. Lutheran Life Villages' mission statement is: As an expression Christ's love, we serve individuals and their caregivers with compassion and respect for independence, wellness, and spiritual life.

Location:

6701 South Anthony Blvd., Fort Wayne, IN 46816, US

Mission Statement

As an expression of Christ's love, we serve individuals and their caregivers with compassion and respect for independence, wellness, and spiritual life.

Description

Lutheran Life Villages-a non-profit provider of senior residential living, senior healthcare, rehabilitation and other services has been providing compassionate, spiritually connected care to the people of Northeast Indiana since 1931. What started as the "Oak Street Home" has evolved to four thriving senior communities in the Fort Wayne area - The Village at Anthony Boulevard, Piper Trail, The Village at Kendallville and The Village at Pine Valley.

While a lot has changed, our mission to serve the older adults in our community in Indiana has remained the same. And as we continue to grow to serve our 55+ population, we will always strive to provide A Better Way of Living for our residents, our staff and everyone in our community.
