Traditions Health Hospice is currently looking for Volunteers that would like to provide Respite to our home Hospice Patients in the Edmond area for 1-3 hours. This opportunity is flexible and managed around the Volunteers time. I invite you to consider joining our team of Volunteers at Traditions Health. Our goal is to ensure the patient lives to their fullest potential with dignity and respect, and that the family members are emotionally supported. Our Volunteers are a valued member of the Hospice team that is under the direction of the Medical Director. Our Volunteers can choose the day and time they wish to Volunteer. We provide two hour training and orientation so our Volunteers feel comfortable carrying out their responsibilities. Hospice care is about living! The Traditions Health hospice team walks with the patient and their loved ones throughout their end of life journey, providing the education and care they need for the best quality of life possible. A volunteer is a very important member of our hospice team whether they visit the patient, help the caregiver with errands or provide administrative support at the hospice office.
