Are you looking to develop your team-building skills and experiences in photography?
The DiverseMinds Magazine is currently looking for bright and open individuals who want to learn more about the event and grow with it.
DiverseMinds is a neurodistinct female magazine helping to bridge the gender gap within the field of neurodiversity. We are looking for someone who can shoot the cover photo and portraits.
There may be additional meets and briefings throughout June and July with the photographers on our team to discuss what you may be doing.
Main Responsibilities:
Properly set up equipment to optimize photo quality;
Participates in photography quality discussions as directed by the Photography Supervisor.
Your benefit from Volunteering:
Receive volunteers hours;
Develop skills and experience in photography;
Develop your problem-solving skills;
Learn how to work in a group and communicate within a group;
Make new friends;
Requirements:
Experience in photographing with portfolio submitted
An interest in learning and/or expanding their knowledge of photography.
Part-time hours: 5 hours per week
Start Date: Friday, June 24, 2022

DiverseMinds is a platform for every talented individual in this world. We believe that there is no single person who are the same. Everyone is unique and talented in their way. Neurodiversity is the concept that there are many different variations in human function, each of which needs to be better understood and respected. Society needs to realize how intelligent and talented our peers are. DiverseMinds research field is mainly focused on female neurodiversity. There is no single research about women in neurodiversity. DiverseMinds wanted to create this platform for women in neurodiversity to use their words to influence others, and this is what brings everyone joy-to connect people and connect with people. We believe that women in neurodiversity deserve the opportunity to express themselves. We believe that through conversation, we inspire each other, learn from each other, and create opportunities for each other. Most importantly, we believe that it is through conversation that we can share our thoughts and emotion to support each other in a patriarchal society.
