Help us get ready for the 3rd Annual #LightTheValleyCT Shine Fest dedicated to shining light on holistic breast wellness and honoring those affected by breast cancer.

This is a physical event so you must be local or willing to travel to this location for volunteer hours.

We need help with set up, tear down, trivia, merch table help, decorating, crafts, and other misc. tasks as they arise during the event.

Help us out for a small amount of time or for the entire event. Those signed up to help for 4 hours or more will get T-shirts and a meal voucher.

Minimum age to volunteer at this event is 13 years old with parental consent.

Mission Statement

To provide support, education, and inspiration to any and all who have breast related concerns or inquires using medical knowledge married with humor.

Description

New nonprofit organization that began as a grassroots initiative to boost breast health awareness in the midst of the COVID pandemic. We aim to shine light on holistic breast wellness no matter size, shape, color or gender you are.

As we move out of the COVID climate we aim to have more in person events to raise awareness and have a good time talking about breast care.

Current initiatives are aimed at creating a more equitable breast health experience for everyone, identifying and reducing barriers to care for optimal breast health, education and promotion of self advocacy within the patient experience in healthcare settings.
