Recruiting Organization: MFS-CASH Oregon

MFS CASH Oregon is an economic empowerment program that improves the financial health of low-income working families and individuals by providing free tax preparation services.

Volunteers are the heart of this work, and we are currently seeking volunteers for the 2023 tax season.

No experience is necessary! All training is provided.

Volunteer Benefits:

Volunteer roles:

• Tax Preparer - Prepares and completes tax returns, answers tax questions
• Intake Specialist - Verifies taxpayers qualify for our service, completes intake interview
• Client Facilitator - First point of contact, checks in taxpayers for appointments
• Interpreter - Helps translate for taxpayers who are not proficient in English
