Do you like to garden on the weekends? Are you friendly, sociable, and enjoy working with others? We may have just the opportunity that you’re looking for!
Jovial Concepts is searching for new Community Garden Leaders for the following communities: Edgewater, South Lakewood, Wheat Ridge, and Barnum.
This is a seasonal, once per week commitment from late March - October. You will be in charge of planting and maintaining 4-6 gardens and guiding other volunteers, with support from Jovial Garden staff. You will also be asked to harvest produce for donation, and weigh and record the weight of your harvest. Educational gardening and learning opportunities will be made available to all garden leaders.
Garden leaders are expected to do this work every Saturday morning for approximately 4 hours. There is some flexibility with the schedule but we are looking for leaders who can consistently commit to this day and time. Paid leaders can expect to make about $300/month.

Since its inception, Jovial Concepts has worked with local communities in Colorado to raise awareness towards issues of social, economic, and environmental conflict, created forums for their peaceful resolve, and collaborated with like-minded organizations to further the effectiveness of current sustainability actions.
