Volunteer - Refugee Youth Soccer Camp

Recruiting Organization: L.A.C.E.S.

L.A.C.E.S. or Life and Change Experienced thru Sports, is a non-profit organization that leverages the power of sport to mentor at-risk refugee youth who have recently resettled in in the greater Washington, D.C. area. We are currently seeking volunteers and coaches for our sixth annual Refugee Youth Soccer Camp fromJuly 25 - 29, 2022. If you’re available all week or just a few hours a day we need you!

Volunteers will be expected to help with day of camp activities such as registering participants on the first day, ensuring a safe playing environment, driving campers to and from pick-up locations, assisting coaches with equipment and camp set up, help serve breakfast, snacks, and lunch, etc.

We ask that all volunteers arrive for set-up at 8:00 AM each day of the camp, followed by soccer sessions from 8:30 AM - 11:30 AM, and lunch from 11:30 AM - 12:30 PM. If you are not available all week, you may indicate dates and times you are available on the application.
