Plant donation pick up for A.G. Rhodes

A.G. Rhodes and Trader Joe’s Atlanta have enjoyed a unique partnership for the past several years. Thanks to the store’s generosity, we are able to pick up unsold plants and flowers every week for our homes. These plants and flowers are re-planted on the grounds of the homes, given to residents, and used to decorate common areas. They do so much to brighten the homes and lives of our residents!

Volunteers are an important part of this partnership as they are needed to pick up donations during the weekday and deliver to one of our homes. The time of day is flexible as long as it is between 11:00am-2:00pm. Volunteers will need to load donations at the store (cart provided at the store) and drive them to either our Atlanta or Wesley Woods home (both 2-3 miles from the store). A truck, minivan or large SUV is ideal as the amount of donations varies from week to week. Volunteers would need to be able to commit to picking up a minimum of 1-2/month, depending on how many volunteers are recruited for this opportunity.
