Brighten up Valentine’s Day for older adults in your community. Beginning in 2014, Wish of a Lifetime has organized a national movement that empowers volunteers across the United States to spread love on Valentine’s Day through delivering a rose to an older adult or decorating postcards to send to older adults across the nation. Volunteers can participate in three ways:
- Visit website to download, print, and decorate cards to send across the country or deliver to older adults in community.
- Deliver roses to senior communities or to older adults in local community.

Description
Wish of a Lifetime from AARP was founded in 2008 in Denver, Colorado by athlete and entrepreneur Jeremy Bloom. In August 2020, Wish of a Lifetime joined forces with AARP to become one of its charitable affiliates. To date, Wish of a Lifetime has granted over 2,000 wishes to individuals 65 and older.
