Asheville Habitat's Women Build program is back! This unique program brings together women to build a Habitat house from start to finish. Supervised by one of our staff construction experts, volunteers will lay the floor joists, frame the house, build the porches, sheath the roof, install the trim, paint, and more!

No experience is necessary - just come ready to learn and have fun! Sign up on your own and meet other women interested in affordable housing and home construction, or come with a group of friends!

The Women Build begins in July, with shifts Tuesday - Saturday, 8:15 - 3:15 (Friday shifts end at noon). Sign-ups are available online through https://www.ashevillehabitat.org/how-to-help/volunteer/. We can't wait to see you out there!

*At Asheville Habitat, we build new homes for low and moderate income residents and repair homes for local homeowners with limited means.*

We are often able to accommodate groups. Please reach out directly to swallace@ashevillehabitat.org with inquiries about large and small groups.
