Looking for a great way to get to know a unique part of your park? The Mill Ruins Restoration Crew drives the ongoing restoration of Mill Ruins Park in Downtown Minneapolis. The crew meets twice per month on Saturdays throughout the summer to remove plants, plant prairie species, and maintain the plants that we have installed throughout the years. New to the crew , we have also begun project work at the new Minneapolis Water Works area. If you like to be outdoors in the heart of the city, this opportunity is for you! Volunteers should be prepared to kneel down to remove vegetation at both sites, and to traverse semi-steep hill terrain at Mill Ruins Park events. Anyone is welcome, regardless of experience!
