Volunteers are essential to ensuring this market runs smoothly.
Thank you for your interest being part of the Tuesday Night Market! This is a fun, family-oriented regular event every Tuesday night starting June 15 and going through August 30. There is an international food court, bands, performances/exhibits on the
Plaza, and lots of vendors selling great stuff. We hold the event on Main between 1st
and 3rd in downtown Hillsboro, on the Washington County courthouse lawn, and in
the Hillsboro Civic Plaza.
Volunteers will receive a complimentary meal from one of the hot food vendors as well as the undying gratitude of the Tuesday Night Market staff and entire Hillsboro community!
We have 3 shifts that need volunteer help.
2pm-5pm: The setup shift will:
-Put up tents, chairs, and tables
-Setup the stage and canopy for the band
-Put up roadblocks, traffic signs, and road cones
-Setup garbage and recycle bags
-Setup the plaza tents, sound system and signs
5pm-8pm: The Market shift will:
-Assist with projects as they arise
-Wipe down tables between guests
-Check on garbage and recycle stations
8pm-10pm: The teardown shift will:
-Take down and put away tents, chairs, tables, stage, canopy, etc.
-Take down the roadblocks, traffic signs, and road cones
-Clean up the garbage and recycle
-Load the truck

The Hillsboro Downtown Partnership (HDP) is a 501c3 nonprofit organization dedicated to making it easier, more enjoyable and more profitable to do business Downtown. We formed in December 2014, and began operations on September 1, 2015. We envision a thriving district of collaborative partners who embody community as an essential component of a vibrant and resilient Downtown Hillsboro, with HDP serving as the conduit for connections, engagement, and idea-realization. We believe a vibrant cultural district and town center is vital to our community and local economy. It enhances our quality of life and provides a sense of place, pride, and connection for us all. Hillsboro Downtown Partnership is ready to be the driving force to make this, and more, happen for our residents and visitors.
