Hope for the Future: An 80's themed Gala/Fundraiser - August 25, City Park Pavilion, 5-8 pm. Need lots of Volunteers. ​This is our annual fundraiser and we're in person for the first time in three years! There will be an 80's cover band, food, adult beverages, a silent auction and more. We will need 3 bartenders, 4 servers to pass trays of hors d'voeuvres, 5 for setup and decorations, 5 for cleanup. It will be great fun - dress up, drink up (safely), and dance! Description

Hope Communities was founded in 1980 by a group of citizens concerned about the lack of decent, affordable housing in Denver. Beginning in the historic Five Points neighborhood, Hope Communities operated a single building of rental units that Denver families and individuals could afford; almost thiry years later, the organization's geographic focus has expanded to include the entire Metro Denver area, at a time where affordable housing has only become more critical.

In addition to rental housing, Hope Communities also offers an array of programs and services designed to empower residents and build community. These include adult education, youth education, health and wellness programs, case management, and events to engage the entire community.
