This opportunity allows for the individual to understand meeting emergency needs in time of crisis in the international community as our organization opens our doors to those in need of immediate aid. Volunteers are in charge of the logistics and organization of our donation warehouse located in Potomac Mills Mall.

  • evening / 06:00 PM to 08:00 PM

Description

MAV is a community-based organization that emphasizes the unity of all persons in the Prince William County area. MAV frequently hosts interfaith events, offers civic and electoral involvement opportunities, perpetually disburses mutual aid to all people regardless of identity, and collaborates with various local, national, and international organizations to provide support to as many communities as possible. MAV has provided free and equitable social services to the community for over three decades. Above all, MAV has been recognized by state and federal agencies as a beacon for human rights through religious, cultural, and social expression.

  • Saturdays from 9am-3pm, Tuesdays from 6pm-8pm (you may select one or do both)
  • It is preferred if members who attend on Saturdays have language skills in Dari/Farsi, and/or Pashto.
