Habitat for Humanity La Crosse Area is looking for volunteers for our construction sites!

Whether you’re a master carpenter or have never picked up a hammer, a serving heart is all that is required. We build year-round. Opportunities are regularly available on Wednesday-Saturday. Work us into your schedule twice a week or once a month - whatever works for you!

Individual hours are flexible with volunteers leaving sooner or later depending on the day. However, we ask that all volunteers arrive by 8:00 am.

You must be 18 years or older to volunteer on the construction site or 16 years or older accompanied by a legal guardian.

About Habitat for Humanity of the Greater La Crosse Region

Location:

3181 Berlin Drive, La Crosse, WI 54601, US

Mission Statement

Bring people together to provide and preserve affordable housing opportunities and create a community where all feel they belong.

Description

Our Vision:

A Coulee Region with ample, quality housing options and healthy, sustainable communities for all.

We believe that decent, affordable housing should be a matter of conscience and action; we realize that there are people in our community who are living in inadequate conditions and that joining together we can provide a hand up - not a handout.

For many people, it is an eye-opening experience to see what homes and conditions are like for many of the working poor. We believe that many stereotypes will be dispelled as people of different economic, ethnic, or religious backgrounds work together. We all share a common humanity, with similar frailties, strengths, and aspirations.
Our Values:
  1. Committed to reuse and environmental sustainability
  2. Rooted in faith in community
  3. Driven to innovate
  4. Called to advocate
