• Here at Made Men, we are given the opportunity every day to make a significant and positive difference in the lives of others. Made Men serves men and women and in the past 10 years has helped more than 500 students get their GED. We are located in the heart of Kansas City, Kansas. We offer GED classes in a continuous format as opposed to other programs that have a specific start and end date. People can come to us anytime. We offer pre-tests that identify areas for improvement. Then we set students up with personalized tutoring and online resources. You can be a part of this journey. Made Men is currently looking for volunteers for the following positions.
• ONLINE PRESENCE ADMINISTRATION: We need volunteers who can help us improve our online presence. There are many, many people who want to complete the high school equivalency program but just don't know where to start. We could reach many more individuals if we had a stronger online presence.
• TUTORS: The GED tests are divided into 4 parts. Science, English, Social Studies and Math. We provide everything you need to teach our students. If you have a heart for service, a passion for education and can consistently commit a few hours each week, your efforts would be very valuable. As a GED tutor myself, I can honestly say I am amazed at how much I learn. I came here to give but have received far more than I have given.
