Interested in creating your own volunteer schedule? Looking for a fulling experience? Brighten someone's day with a visit! As a Senior Companion volunteer with The Senior Source deliver compassionate, inclusive, and nonjudgmental support to people affected aging in place. Through this volunteer opportunity clients and caregivers will experience additional support through the volunteer's regular face-to-face visits.

To volunteer join the Senior Companion Program a volunteer programages 55 years and older. We match volunteers ages 55+ with clients in their area. Funded through AmeriCorps Seniors is one of the largest volunteer networks in the nation for people 55 years and over.

Senior Companion Program is looking for volunteers to have friendly conversations with their isolated older adult companion. Volunteers will be matched with a participant based on similar interest and availability. Volunteers are asked to visit a minimum of 10 hours a week This opportunity is very flexible.

A background check and training required.
