Elliott Acres Annual Horse show will take place on Saturday August 10th from 8am-5pm. We will need help grooming the horses and getting them tacked and ready for the show. We will need assistance with our Chinese Auction and refreshment stand as well. We will need volunteers too also side walk with riders during The specific class times. SIDE WALKERS - A re responsible for the safety of the riders. During the class itself, your job is to provide support for the rider, specifically to maintain proper balance. Your instructor will give you directions on what type of hold to use for each rider. All Volunteers must wear covered shoes, no sandals, flip flops or crocs are permitted (be prepared for a lot of walking), long pans and shirts that cover the shoulders and can be tucked in. We must have paperwork on file in order to allow you to be around the horses.If you are under 18, your release MUSTbe signed by a parent or guardian. You can find the volunteer release and photo release on our website under forms if you do not have hits paper work with you when you arrive we cannot allow you to be around the horses. We will need help throughout they day with various other tasks as well, but the ones list above are the main task we will need help with. This event will need volunteers from 8am-5pm. Volunteers are welcome to stay for as long as they can during that time period. Whether it’s a few hours or the whole day all help is appreciated. - This is an all day even from 8am-5pm. We will welcome any volunteer who is willing dedicate any amount time during those hours. If you can only volunteer for a few hours that’s okay. If you can stay the whole day great.
