A daily volunteer is a member of our community who comes out to volunteer a shift with us! You can be a new volunteer, or someone who has volunteered with us one or more times in the past. Welcome, or welcome back!

Alder Commons- 1229 SE Larch Ct., Hillsboro, OR 97123

Denny Gardens- 9815 SW Denney Rd., Beaverton, OR 97008

Cherry Blossom- SE Cherry Blossom Dr. and SE Main St. Portland, OR 97216

Kenton- N. Interstate Ave. & N. Kilpatrick St., Portland, OR 97217

Outline of Volunteer Responsibilities:

• Working on construction-related tasks with homebuyers and/or other volunteers
• Following safety guidelines
• Reporting directly to the Habitat Portland Region staff person at the site

Training and Support:

• Volunteers receive direction and support from Habitat construction staff and Construction Regular Volunteers on site
• Habitat Portland Region will provide all the tools and supplies needed for a build

Expectations:

• Time Commitment: Volunteers must be able to commit to the entire shift. We understand that life happens but please stay till we are all cleaned up for the day.
• This is a "REAL" construction site-be prepared to work hard and get dirty
• Must be at least 16 years old
• Volunteers must sign a Release and Waiver of Liability online before working
• Volunteers must provide **Proof of Vaccination** before working

Volunteer tasks/activities will vary on a day-to-day basis
