Peach Fest Food Stand Volunteer

For the past 6 years, Hollabaugh Bros. has invited the United Way of Adams County to operate a food stand at their Annual Peach Festival. Typically, we serve hamburgers, hot dogs, Italian sausage, and walking tacos along with beverages and snacks. All the proceeds are used to help fund programs at the United Way of Adams County. The festival typically runs from 12:00pm-4:00pm over the weekend of August 13-14. Volunteers are scheduled for two hours shifts starting at 10:00am and ending at 5:30pm. Volunteers are welcome to sign up for more than one shift.
- Grill Master Volunteer - Cook burgers, hot dogs, and Italian sausages. Cooking and grilling experience is handy.
- Server - Take orders from customers and properly relay information to food preppers and cashier.
- Food Prep Volunteer - Properly plate and serve orders, help with food preparation.
- Cashier Volunteer - Check out customers paying with either cash or through PayPal card processor. Maintain and organized cash drawer and handout proper change. Encourage customer to round up to the next dollar for a donation. Cash handling and technology skills preferred.
Requirements: Ability to work on your feet for 2 hours or more in an outdoor setting.
