Mission Statement

The Friends of Loudoun County Animal Services is a nonprofit, independent animal welfare organization dedicated to raising funds for, and providing support to, the animals and programs of Loudoun County Animal Services (LCAS).

Description

LCAS is a progressive shelter that is dedicated to providing services geared towards helping the community and pets in need, and finding homes for every adoptable pet that comes through their doors. The shelter and the staff are a valuable resource to the community, and we are so proud of the work they do!

The shelter's budget, provided by county, covers basic medical treatment for the pets in their care, but the cost of veterinary services is rising. Our purpose is to raise funds that will ease the burden of those costs, and allow the shelter to provide a higher level of care to those animals who need it.

You can join us in our mission to support LCAS! Whether you volunteer, or donate, or both, your support will help us grow and aid the shelter in expanding its programs. The work you do will be rewarding, and you can take pride in knowing your efforts are benefiting hundreds of lives each year!
