Mission Statement
Our mission is to dramatically improve the economic mobility of CUNY students through entrepreneurship.
Description
CUNY Startups launched in 2014 as a CUNY program to provide central entrepreneurship resources to all 270,000 students across the 25 colleges. We are located at Baruch College, one of ten senior colleges at CUNY, where a dynamic community educates one of the most diverse student populations in the US.
Through our programs: New Venture Accelerator, and CUNY Clash we foster diverse student and volunteer engagement through broad and meaningful recruitment and outreach to traditionally marginalized groups. Students learn the skills they need to propel their careers through a combination of instruction, mentorship, and practice.
