READ BETTER BE BETTER NEEDS A TECHNICAL SUPPORT VOLUNTEER
SUMMARY:
Read Better Be Better needs help this month with asset tagging, and updating our newly implemented Asset inventory process for our electronic devices.
JUNE PROJECT:
- Organize and label all newly acquired Google Chromebooks (about 115) based on the standards set by RBBB;
- Update and add all electronic devices to RBBB’s inventory management system
Each of these Chromebooks will be taken to an elementary school to assist in facilitating our after-school reading program. Each Program Coach (the adult running the program on site) is provided this device. We've upgraded from tablets to these Chromebooks, and need hands-on help getting them all set up. Assisting us with this project will make a significant impact. We need this done by July 1 (when we will be moving to a new office space). Thank you so much!

Read Better Be Better is an education nonprofit organization focused on solving Arizona's literacy crisis. We work with partnering schools throughout the state to connect young readers and youth leaders to inspire a love of literacy and learning. Since 2014, we have served thousands of Arizona students through our after-school and at-home reading programs in over 60 schools and multiple community-based organizations across Maricopa and Pinal counties. Each school semester, we have expanded to serve even more kids, schools, and families.

Each school semester, we have expanded to serve even more kids, schools, and families. We are a mission-driven, collaborative community, and we welcome and are grateful to those seeking an opportunity to get involved.
