our local veterans and families in need.

Hands-on helping veterans include:

  • Answering and returning calls of veterans and their family members inquiring about resources.
  • Obtain necessary information for the intake process, ask questions to understand and identify the veteran's need(s), and enter a referral into the community coordination platform for the client.
  • Follow up with the client to obtain the required documentation for community partners to assist the veteran with their need(s).
  • Assist with follow-up on unresolved cases (as needed) and closing cases.

Tri-County Veterans Support Network is a 501(c)(3) comprised of many veteran service agencies across

Patriot Housing Project
One of the greatest resources they need is a safe home which is affordable to them.
In 2017, we purchased 8 units of affordable housing in North Charleston and have been renovating them and housing homeless or disabled veterans who are at risk of homelessness.
Once housed we facilitate coordinated wrap around services including employment and additional vital resources to help them navigate their way to stability.

**We are looking for volunteers to help renovate the remaining housing units.
