Yankee Doodle Fair is Back!

The oldest and the best loved fundraiser of the Westport Woman’s Club returns June 13-16, 2024. Grandparents, parents, and children from Westport and beyond are all welcomed to this fun event at the Westport Woman’s Club (44 Imperial Ave Westport, CT) on Thursday Friday, 6-10PM, Saturday 1-10PM and Sunday 1-5PM.

In addition to food court, carnival rides, raffle prizes, and carnival games, there will be entertainment on Thursday night 5-7PM and on Sunday night 3-5PM.

The Yankee Doodle Fair is a major source of funding for the Westport Woman’s Club philanthropic programs. Proceeds from this annual event provide most of the monies for the WWC grants to local community service organizations and the need-based scholarships for Staples High School seniors.

You will be assisting the Westport Exchange Club in preparing and selling food.

About Norwalk Exchange Club

Mission Statement

The Norwalk Exchange Club is about people helping people in the belief that hope for tomorrow happens today. We are about giving back a little of ourselves to our community. We are about growing within ourselves through our efforts to help others. We are about developing close personal relationships with newly found friends. We come together in order to eliminate child abuse in all forms, to foster the health and growth of a strong family unit, to promote Americanism, to strengthen the education of our children and to give ourselves in service to our community. Our Membership is open to anyone who is willing to accept these goals as their own.

Norwalk Exchange Club Core Values Each member of Exchange holds near to their heart three core values - Family, Community and Country.

Commitment to Family is interpreted not only as one’s own family needs, but also those of all American families. Strengthening families, with a focus on youth, is addressed in many ways through Exchange’s Programs of Service.

Commitment to the Community where an Exchangite resides is the focal point for each club’s efforts. Exchange is unique as a service organization in that it has the flexibility to structure projects that target the specific needs of a particular geographic location, rather than being restricted to a certain cause.

Commitment to Country was born in the aftermath of World War II, a time of unquenchable patriotism. Exchangites are proud to join veterans and other civic groups in promoting Americanism as the rich blessing of democracy and freedom, and in educating today’s youth to cherish its values. These three values are translated into actions every day to bring about positive results through the work of hundreds of clubs and tens of thousands of dedicated Exchange Club members every day.
