This volunteer opportunity is for energized, and physically fit individuals who love working outdoors and a clean and beautiful environment. They will work closely, yet independently with our community partner, Izzie LLC to pick up litter, plant flowers and plants, water and maintain various properties in Detroit. Experience is not required, but a plus. Must have your own transportation. Tools will be provided, if necessary.
Typical duties would include:
- Cleaning public green spaces around Central Woodward and Detroit's Eastside communities.
- Planting and maintaining perennials and annuals
- Raking and shoveling for seniors in the community
- Cleaning Detroit corridors as assigned

Women’s Innovative Social Enterprise (WISE) Partnership is a 501 c 3 nonprofit. Better known as W.I.S.E. Partnership, we are a collaborative partnership of Detroit social entrepreneurs and non-profit leaders. We provide a level of legacy development that maintains holistic development, environmental sustainability, food insecurity solutions, workforce training and development, youth development and literacy support together in one contemplative green space.
