FREE HYBRID TRAINING VIA ZOOM - Only 11 sessions
September 19 - November 7, 2022 @ 9:15 - 11:45am (Mondays & Wednesdays)
Hybrid training - virtual via Zoom and in person
ORIENTATION - September 14 @ 9:30-11am
- Love music and children? Volunteer in their classroom.
- Music background not needed. As long as you can sing on pitch and love music and kids, then we can train you.
- Don’t deny children their thirst for music.
Why Train With Music For Minors II To Become A MFMII Docent?
♪Discover and learn how to share your love of music with children - singing/sign language, dancing / movement, learn how to play rhythm instruments and music theory.

To nurture the love of music in children and develop their musical sensitivity and literacy through classroom instruction and participation and musical performances thereby bridging the gap between academic and arts education in the schools.
Description
Music for Minors II (MFMII) is a nonprofit music enrichment organization serving local schools since 1988 by recruiting and training community volunteers to become music docents sharing singing, dance, rhythm instruments, and music appreciation with children and classroom teachers. MFMII also sponsors community concerts with guest recording artists and also showcases its students in annual community concerts.
