If you love to chat, network and meet new people, this opportunity is for you! The community spokesperson will spread the word about the Back on My Feet mission and vision to the community with the end goal of inviting people to join us on our mission to disrupt homelessness as a volunteer. This person will research local businesses, run groups and upcoming 5k races to share our mission with and see if we can connect and partner with them. Research can be done on your own time and we meet every two weeks via zoom to touch base with updates.

Mission Statement
Back on My Feet is a non-profit organization that promotes the self-sufficiency of America's homeless population by engaging them in physical activity as a means to build confidence, strength and self-esteem.
Description
Back on My Feet envisions a community where all members have the support and motivation required to move towards self -sufficiency. Every major city has a homeless problem and while providing food and shelter are important basic needs, something is missing. Back on My Feet is a strategic and creative program that uses running to teach important life skills, such as discipline, respect, leadership, and goal-setting. We work with shelters and rescue mission to guide our members down a road of happiness, hope and opportunity, which includes a stable job and a place to live. This is our goal and we will get there one step at a time.
