Summary:

This is a volunteer position. This person will create newsletter content and coordinate the monthly Post Adoption Newsletter eblasts. This person will report to the Post Adoption Pack Leader.

Key Results Areas

• Works with Post Adoption Pack Leader to create monthly editorial calendar
• Updates evergreen content and pitches new story ideas
• Adopter/dog profiles
• Training success stories
• Vets We Love
• Preferred Trainer profiles
• Seasonal alerts (flea/tick season)
• Hot topics like Heartworm prevention and treatment
• Mines drip email campaigns for story ideas to expand on
• Interviews sources, writes copy, chooses photos and other graphic elements
• Works with Social Media photographer when new photos are needed
• Ensures content is error-free
• Makes layout suggestions in MailerLite to highlight content
• Works with Post Adoption Pack Leader to create a PHR newsletter style guide
• Submits all content to email marketer on deadline
• Attends monthly team Zoom meeting
