Recruiting Organization: Bmore Beautiful
Duncan Street Miracle Garden is in search of volunteers for ongoing assistance with the maintenance of our garden. We are looking for general volunteers, gardeners, and farmers of all skill levels who are passionate about food justice. We are also in need of volunteers with construction or mechanical skills who can help us make repairs to our fence, pathway borders, and farming equipment.
The Miracle Garden donates 100% of its produce to local food pantries, soup kitchens, and churches. COVID has had a huge impact on many people's ability to provide healthy food for themselves and their families. Your work with Duncan Street Miracle Garden will have a direct impact on helping to increase the food security and food sovereignty of the community surrounding the garden. The garden is located in a community affected by the food apartheid so your work with us will also help to heal historical food injustices faced by the Broadway East Neighborhood.
