Are you 55+ and looking to stay active? On the farm you will meet the crew, learn more about the farm, and join that day's activities which may include: weeding, harvesting, planting, building compost and more.
Job Description: Farm Volunteer
Hours: Tuesday - Friday 10 am - 2 pm, Saturday and Sunday 10 am - 4 pm
Start Date: ASAP
Job Description: On the farm you will meet the crew, learn more about the farm,
and join that day's activities which may include: weeding, harvesting, planting,
building compost and more. Projects are weather dependent and defined by the
day's priorities. We often can't tell you exactly what project you'll be working on
in advance.
Tasks:
Weeding
Harvesting
Planting
Building compost
What to wear:
Closed-Toe shoes
Clothes that can get dirty (we recommend layers)
Hat
Sunscreen
What to bring:
Water bottle
Snacks
Gardening Gloves if you have them
