ORGANIZATION: Keep North Charleston Beautiful


Are you a student looking to fulfill your community service or volunteer requirements over the summer? Look no further! Keep North Charleston Beautiful has several opportunities that are a great fit for teens and college students! As a 501(c)(3) organization, we are happy to provide verification of volunteer hours for your school or organization.

Don't forget! KNCB is a certifying organization for the President's Volunteer Service Award. KNCB volunteers are eligible once they reach a minimum number of volunteers hours in a one-year period. Visit this link on our website to learn more:

Currently, some of our volunteer opportunities include: working in the gardens at the Charleston Farms Community Center, watering gardens, spreading compost, spreading mulch, picking up litter, and helping with volunteer workdays.

Keep North Charleston Beautiful (KNCB) is a non-profit organization that works to enhance the beauty and image of the City of North Charleston through hands-on beautification efforts, through education, and by supporting community cleanups.


Keep North Charleston Beautiful was founded in 2000. KNCB is a [501(c)(3)] non-profit organization and an award-winning affiliate of Keep America Beautiful. Programs include the Butterfly Gardens at Park Circle and Northwoods, community cleanups, field trips, Flowerscape, and virtual opportunities.
