We have patients who are Veterans that can use a friendly visitor, or helping hand, who live in their own home, group home, or in a skilled nursing. Responsibilities include weekly visits for an hour for companionship or assistance with errands. Training, background checks, and TB tests all provided free of charge. If you want to help a Veteran who is on hospice care please call.
All volunteers must be fully vaccinated including a booster shot and provide proof of vaccines. Volunteers are expected to wear PPE (mask, gloves, etc.) when visiting patients and will be trained on infection control.
