Come volunteer as a dishwasher and your lunch is free! The Charlotte Senior Center prepares and serves approximately 60 delicious meals every Monday for our senior community. We are looking for volunteers to help us clean-up the dishes and pots & pans used to prepare and serve each meal! Our clean-up crews are fun and lively and always looking for someone to join the team. The time commitment would be about once a month (or more if you like) for about an hour and a half. Lunch is free and the team usually arrives at about 12:15pm to have lunch. The clean-up starts about 12:30 and we're usually done by 2:00 but it can be a little sooner or later depending on the amount we need to clean and put away for the next meal.

We welcome seniors from area communities to participate in exercise, art, and language classes as well as outdoor activities such as hikes, kayaking and croquet. We share music, play games and serve a weekly delicious lunch.
